How Yoga Can Make You Taller

Among diverse questions from friends and strangers, I was really intrigued by one specific question “Can I get taller with specific type of exercising?” I have found this question so interesting; besides, I decided to do a search to respond to this question.

I have found interesting information that periodical yoga exercising can increase your height by 2 to 5 centimeters. It happens because yoga’s exercise system directly focuses on correction of posture, stretching and toning muscles.

How can yoga increase height? First of all yoga can help people who have or walk with a hunch (part of back in region of trapezius). If you have ever noticed, people with the correct posture look taller. The hunch is not only an unbeautiful way to carry yourself, but it is not good for your health because of some inner organs in that condition begin working incorrectly. Due to the bones-muscles system, a hunch appears because of weakness of muscles of back and shortness of chest muscles. Therefore, the shoulders “fold inside”, the chest “falls down” and the height decreases.

Yoga will not instantly change your posture. During all of your life, you got this posture, so it is going to take certain time to change it.
